|Core Rules Compatible|
A Ghillie Dhu is a plant that takes the shape of an androgynous humanoid. The body is made entirely of vines with the head being a bulb shape. A Ghillie Dhu has no way to make itself appear anymore human, and from close up the distinction is clear.
A magical creature in a fantasy setting or an alien in a scifi setting
A pale Green humanoid made up of vines with each limb having five vines that separate at the end to form fingers and toes. The face of a Ghillie Dhu appear innocent and can separate down the middle to form a hidden mouth.
Perks & Flaws
It's hard to kill such a thing.
Whisperer of the Wild
The Ghillie Dhu can talk to plants.
Unlike most plants the Ghillie Dhu needs to eat meat. Its primary way to catch a prey is to ensnare the prey in its vines and make a quick meal of it, starting with the head. The Ghillie Dhu becomes blind of its prey when it opens its mouth because its face separates in two, so it relies on its vines to keep its food still. Ghillies eat humans solely for food and if full, will not bother hunting down and killing anyone. Ghillies will eat any meat, but humans are curious and bold making them easy prey. They have the capability to talk, and are naturally charming, but lack the capability to feel any long lasting emotion like love or grief.
