Introduction

Thugs for hire, willing to do any job for the right price.

Inspiration

A dirty and mean combatant, who can be bribed but never trusted.

Settings

  • Sci-fi: bounty hunter
  • Modern: private military corporation
  • Fantasy: free company, soldier of fortune

Character Build

Basic Information

Visual Description

Mismatched armor and weapons. Rarely clean or bathed. Tough skin and personality.

Character Background

Goals, Beliefs, Instincts, Motivations

Beliefs

No job to big or too small for the right price.

Instincts

Out to win, not to fight fair. They will resort to dirty tricks like distractions and ambushes. Usually they prefer to attack anyone other than their target so they can be taken alive, depending on the contract.

Motivations

Money and survival above all else. They can be bribed, but little else will change their course. If they look to be losing a fight they will surrender, then try again later with more firepower or a more unexpected ambush.

Compatibility

Compatible with any setting where violence can be bought for money. Used in Project Sunbird.
